360° VR Video - use the mouse, etc. to look in any direction.

The makers of 360° cameras advertise how good their built-in stabilization works, but in reality electronic stabilization is not going to be as good as a modern gimbal. But how do you attach such a camera to a smartphone gimbal, as adapters are virtually non-existent.

This video is shot on a Wunder360 VR camera mounted to a FlowMotion One gimbal using simple components. It first of all demonstrates just how steady such videos can be and shows you how it can be done at the end.

Note; The gimbal has to be used in portrait mode.

Camera: Wunder360 C1 VR camera
Gimbal: FlowMotion One
The adapter consists of a small block of cork and a simple 1/4" to 3/8" adapter. Costs about $20 to make and requires a small saw and a drill.

Cork block found on Amazon for 9.90 Euros ($11.40):

Metal adapter found on eBay for 9.80 Euros ($11.30).

The finished adapter mount weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
